Traditionally in India these bowls would be used for mixing and are called a “Parat”. Nowadays they are used for everything in India like cooking, washing and as a way to transport things. These hand carved bowls are very functional and can be used for a variety of uses such as a fruit or salad bowl or just as a table centerpiece. The bowls have been restored many times by their previous owner and breathe history and culture. Because they are hand-carved they all have their own unique shape and design and will make a great addition to any home.
